About Alina

Alina is a Lithuanian freelance illustrator working in the UK. She is a graduate of the MA Children’s Book Illustration at Cambridge School of Art. Her debut picture book ‘I Love You, Bunny’ about the fear of darkness will be published by Frances Lincoln Children’s Books in February 2018. Alina received her BA degree in Graphics at Vilnius Academy of Arts in Lithuania. Her fascination with children’s books, comics and animation continued since she was a kid, along with the passion for creating stories. She experimented with traditional and digital techniques throughout her artistic career and now uses both to create her children’s book illustrations. Alina is inspired by children and nature, especially animals, which appear in most of her work.
